Do you love to laugh? Do you love a parade? Do you think it's cool to listen to some of the best musicians ever? Do you want to run away for two hours and just be be amazed? Then the New Old Time Chautauqua's (NOTC) Memorial Day Orcas Island Benefit on Sunday, May 28 is just for you. This show will feature The Flying Karamazov Brothers who have been graced the stages of Broadway, were captured on the silver sceen, and shimmered on the tiny screen too. Other performer will include the Pipia Sisters - cute as bugs especially as they spin music, song, dance, and souzaphones into a madcap wonderful fusion of solid gold giddiness. Just in from Alpha Centauri will be Godfrey Daniels, 8 feet high and with a red bulbous nose, a red bulbous ball, and a red bulbous heart just for you! We'll be joined by the legendary Artis the Spoonman, Joey Pipia's magic, the hooping mastery of Harmony Lyrics, Noodlini, and many other performers demonstrating acrobatic skills, comedic verve, and a certain je ne sais quoi...

All proceeds go to NOTC's 2017 Eastern Oregon Tour and to the Hands Across the Border project with the Blackfoot Confederacy.

Thank in advance for supporting North America's only traveling Chautauqua in its mission to build community through music, skill, interaction, collaboration, and laughter!

In July 2017, Chautauqua will be revisiting some of the small towns in which we built connections during our 2012 Eastern Oregon Tour. We will be teaming up with local community organizers to bring laughter, light and education to prisons, reading programs, and assisted living homes, as well as the general public. We will be presenting a program of free potlucks, parades, and workshops, as well as a Big Vaudeville show in each town.
